I began my career as a financial consultant in 1985 with Shearson Lehman American Express in the traditional wire house environment. Always an achiever, I was elected the best financial consultant (Best Overall FC 85-44) of my training class. Always looking to take advantage of trends in the industry, I was led to recognize the opportunities that lie ahead with bank brokerage firms. In 1988 I went to work for one of the first bank brokerage firms to offer investment advice to their clients. For five years in a row, I was in the firm’s top ten producers and a perennial President’s Club member.

In 1994, I left the world of retail selling and entered the world of financial sales management and coaching. I view the business of fee based investment management from a completely unique angle. I totally agree with Michael Gerber, author of E-Myth and Revisiting the E-Myth and the entrepreneur’s best friend that, “our business should serve us not the other way around”.

The fee based investment management business is the greatest business in the world and quite simply if you are not having fun yet, you’re just not doing it right.
